What boat would be the best for a crossing the atlantic?

Not something ridiculously expensive, and not a rowing boat.
I want to go from england to bermuda/america, any suggestions??
Also anyone no what type of boat would be needed to go from England to the north or south pole? Thanxxxxxxxx
