Trying to find books by these authors... cant remember their names.could anyone help?
The first is American.Therese Mansour..or something like that...writes about an Italian female cop...just cant find the right surname anywhere on the internet think there is a houseboat involved somewhere
The second is English and writes about a policeman who has a twin sister who is a g.p...Lake district I think, there was a book about a jogger who was killed...it's not Stephen Booth..I think the police officer was good at Art and went To Italy a lot (it's not Adam Dalgleish)...and he may have had a disabled sister...but I may have made this bit up...
am trying to order books from the library so...any help with these authors would be much appreciated...thanks x

Has anyone been recieving recorded phone calls on their Verizon cell phone,..?
Informing them that their Mortgage (but you dont have a mortgage) is late on your home. Or their insurance payment for their houseboat (but you don't have a houseboat) is going to be cancelled. Or the payment on your motorhome (but you don't own a motorhome) is late........and so on. So many people I know including myself of course have recieved these recordings on their cellphones about financial situations that simply don't exist. So you just say "huh?" shake your head and hand press "end call". Not thinking much more of it. But that call cost you money. I have recieved several of these random meaningless phonecalls. Hypothetically speaking, if someone were to call every Verizon Customer just one time. How much would that add up to? Then lets say they call everyone twice. How much is that? Twice a month? Twice a week? Could add up to billions and billions of dollars I would imagine. I wonder who would do such a thing. How long are they going to get away with this crap? Someone tell me what to do. How easy is it for one person, or one company, to take 5 cents from everyone in a city, a state. With the economy as bad as it is, I'm thinking all the money people use to have to spend is being sucked away by these types of scam artists. They end up with so much money nobody can even touch them. Or they pay someone off, I'm not sure. But i do know my payment on my motorhome is not late. This is driving me nuts lol.
Pre-Fix what planet are you on?? Lol ignoring them is EXACTLY what the phone company wants you to do! lol OMG! See? People? what i mean? There are nearly 7 billion people on the planet and all anyone has to hope for is that 1 million of them are stupid enough to say "hmm, I'll simply ignore this call". Do you ignore your phone bill? Your bank statements? What is wrong here? Not to mention the people that are too busy, just don't care, or are too poor to feel empowered enough to do anything about it. In the mean time the phone company, VERIZON, is literally stealing our livelihoods from us and our children and not even trying to hide it. Don't they make enough with the odd charges on phone bills, the prepaid phone cards that offer 500 minutes but give you 5. Where does it end?
